4 WINDOW TECHNOLOGIES FROM RENEWAL BY ANDERSEN®

Two windows may look exactly the same, yet perform worlds apart. When it comes to energy efficiency, every component plays a role.

4 Window Technologies From Renewal By Andersen

As the authority in replacement windows and patio doors in St. Louis, Renewal by Andersen® of St. Louis wants to share the window technologies we use to provide you with the most efficient products you can buy.

Apart from our start-to-finish installation process, here are some of the innovations we use:

Fibrex®

All discerning homeowners would agree that our very own Fibrex is the ultimate framing material. As a matter of fact, it combines the best of wood and vinyl—minus their inherent drawbacks.

Our patented composite material is twice as strong as vinyl, allowing it to remain as weathertight as the day it was installed for years to come. Under St. Louis’ extreme winter and summer temperatures, Fibrex is warranted not to rot, blister, crack, flake, corrode, peel, nor rust for a long period.

To help keep your indoors pleasantly comfortable all year long, it insulates almost 700 times better than aluminum.

Advanced Low-E Glass

We offer many glass solutions to tailor the energy performance of your windows in St. Louis to your local climate. To put things into perspective, our High Performance™ Low-E4 SmartSun™ glass is 45% and 70% more efficient in winter and summer respectively compared to the st andard double-paned window.

Since our Low-E coating features spectrally selective layers, you can expect your window glass to block only the sun’s undesirable heat and UV rays while still letting most visible light in to enhance your outdoor view.

Stainless Steel Spacers

To ensure that argon gas remains in between our glass panes, our spacer system is made of stainless steel. Unlike aluminum and plastic, which some manufacturers still use, stainless steel is much stronger and essentially resists seal failure.

As a result, our products uncompromisingly deliver exceptional thermal performance throughout their life spans.

Precise Dual Sealing

Our unique dual sealing process makes our window replacement a truly efficient kind of home remodeling in St. Louis, MO. We remove the Low-E coating on the edges of our glass, giving our two sealants a clear surface for optimum adhesion.

This is why you can rest assured that your windows are proof against moisture infiltration and able to retain their robust seal over the long-term.

"Very pleased with installation of six windows and a ProVia entry door. I love the look of the windows and door. I am pleased that my wife is thrilled with the look of the door. She is very pleased that the bronze color fits in well with the color of the brick."

"I just had my Renewal by Andersen windows installed and couldn’t be happier, the entire process went very smoothly. The windows are high quality and look great. But the installers Roy, Zack and Jordan were the stars, they introduced themselves upon arrival walked me thru everything they were going to do and when they finished took me to each window to make sure I was completely satisfied. They were clean and courteous and I would definitely recommend and have them work in my home again."

"Wonderful experience with knowledgeable, competent employees. We had Andersen windows in a previous house & didn’t even consider anything else this time. After replacing our patio door almost two years ago, we replaced all our windows this year. What a difference over builder-grade windows, especially in the really cold temperatures we’ve had this year. Andersen windows may be a little more expensive than other brands, but they are top quality."
