Video How Is Fibrex Made And What Sets It Apart

What do you want in a windowOf course, you want them to be beautiful, adding to the curb appeal and market value of your home. But that’s not all. Such home components should offer a lot more so Renewal by Andersen® came up with our very own material for building those frames. We call that material Fibrex®.

What Is Fibrex®?

Fibrex is the proprietary material manufactured by Renewal by Andersen for putting together window and patio door frames that work better than wood or vinyl. It’s been proven to last longer than either of those materials in any kind of weather across America.

What Makes Fibrex Special?

To understand what makes Fibrex better than most other window frame materials, or the materials used in manufacturing your French doorsyou should learn how it is made.

Andersen® Corporation, Renewal by Andersen’s parent company, has been manufacturing wood windows for over 100 years. We wanted to make use of the pieces of wood that are too small to be included in making windows so as not to let them go to waste. So, we combined those wood particles with our proprietary polymers. Fibrex is composed of 60% wood particles by weight and 40% polymer.

Before combining the two, we make sure the wood is completely devoid of moisture. Then, using our patented process, we let the two materials combine on the molecular level. The result is a wood and patio door framing material that resists moisture better than others.

We can create just about any shape or add just about any color to our window frames. This allows us to offer a host of window styles you can enjoy for a lifetime.

Fibrex has been tested to work in any weather. It will not bow or crack when exposed to the hottest summers, and it will not give in to moisture even in the wettest environments. It will remain as rigid as the day you bought your windows. Fibrex is guaranteed not to peel, fade, chip or fall victim to any of the weaknesses of wood or vinyl, making it a combination of both worlds minus all the drawbacks. That’s a lot more value for your money.

From our specialty windows to our sliding patio doors, we are confident in our Fibrex material. Renewal by Andersen of St. Louis is the window specialist you can trust. Call us today at (314) 983-9977. We can help you in St. Louis, MO, and in other surrounding areas.

They have top notch sales and installation experts who are very kind and considerate of their customers' wishes. The windows I have installed look great and I am so excited to get the next group of windows put in. My house looks so much brighter with my new windows. I definitely recommend Renewal by Andersen of St. Louis."

"We recently contracted with Renewal by Andersen to replace 5 windows in our home. First of all, we were very delighted that the time from contract to installation was less than two months. Joel and Craig arrived precisely at the agreed-upon time and spent less than four hours from start to completion of installation, including time to demonstrate opening/closing the windows and any questions we had. We were very pleased with the knowledge and professionalism of Joel and Craig, and, of course, we’re very pleased with the windows and how nice they look. We definitely recommend Renewal by Andersen."
